A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the Ann Moyna Foundation last year. Your generous donations funded $20,000 in Scholarships to students at Southeast Polk Schools, Central DeWitt Community School, Central Community School in Elkader and the Iowa Court Reporter’s Scholarship.
We’re excited to do it again in 2024 with the 3rd Annual Ann Moyna Memorial Fundraiser. It will be hosted again in Altoona starting with a golf outing on Friday, May 3rd, 2024 at Terrace Hills Golf Course (see below). Saturday, May 4th, 2024 will be an afternoon of fun at Fireside Grille with a bags tournament, silent auction, live music, and plenty of time to socialize (see below).

Generous – adjective: showing a readiness to give more of something, as money or time, than is strictly necessary or expected.
What better word to use to describe the life of Ann Moyna than generous? Whether it was for her family, her friends, her neighbors, her church, or her community – Ann was always there, ready and willing. Whether it was time, money, or words of wisdom – Ann was happy to give whatever was needed. Sometimes you didn’t even have to ask, Ann just saw a need and stepped up to make it happen.
This page is a dedication to the memory of one of the most thoughtful and giving people you could ever know. Her life ended too soon and too unexpectedly, but a legacy was left behind for others to follow and strive towards. We hope you will join us in following Ann’s example of generosity and contribute to her memorial. A memorial that will be used to provide a scholarship to a deserving individual who may also some day make a difference in her community.
