* 2026 Update *

A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed and continues to support the Ann Moyna Foundation over the last 5 years. Your generous donations funded $20,000 annually in Scholarships to students at Southeast Polk Schools, Central DeWitt Community School, Central Community School in Elkader, and several other Altoona local charitable organizations.

We’re excited to do it again in 2026 with the 5th Annual Ann Moyna Memorial Fundraiser. It will be hosted again in Altoona starting with a golf outing on Friday, May 1st, 2026 at Terrace Hills Golf Course. Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 will be an afternoon of fun at Fireside Grille with a bags tournament, silent auction, live music, and plenty of time to socialize (see below).

Those interested who cannot attend one of the live events can donate online with a credit card via the GoFundMe page below.

What better word to use to describe the life of Ann Moyna than generous? Whether it was for her family, her friends, her neighbors, her church, or her community – Ann was always there, ready and willing. Whether it was time, money, or words of wisdom – Ann was happy to give whatever was needed. Sometimes you didn’t even have to ask, Ann just saw a need and stepped up to make it happen.

This page is a dedication to the memory of one of the most thoughtful and giving people you could ever know. Her life ended too soon and too unexpectedly, but a legacy was left behind for others to follow and strive towards. We hope you will join us in following Ann’s example of generosity and contribute to her memorial. A memorial that will be used to provide a scholarship to a deserving individual who may also some day make a difference in her community.
